The Hologram Experience Allows Fans to Interact with The Backstreet Boys and See
Their Own Hologram LIVE next to the Group

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 10, 2019 VNTANA, a leading mixed reality company, and the GRAMMY Museum®, today announced the first-ever Backstreet Boys interactive hologram fan experience. VNTANA worked with the GRAMMY Museum® to create something for The Backstreet Boys that allowed them to directly engage with fans in a personal and immersive experience. As a part of the experience, fans can select one of two experiences to perform as a hologram with The Backstreet Boys: The Backstreet Boys can serenade you an A Capella or fans can select to pose with the group.

How does the Hologram Experience work?

  • Fans stand in front of VNTANA’s hologram display and within seconds see their own hologram LIVE next to The Backstreet Boys hologram.
  • As they both appear “on stage,” The Backstreet Boys sing A Capella to the fans and invite them to take a hologram selfie with them.
  • After the hologram performance is done, each fan will receive a video of the experience that they can immediately share on social media.

”Fan engagement is a key component in music culture and essential for artists to help create personal experiences for their fans,” said Ashley Crowder, CEO and Co-Founder of VNTANA. “Our technology was a perfect solution to allow The Backstreet Boys to meet their fans via hologram which they have never done before.”

The hologram experience will be a part of the new exhibition at the GRAMMY Museum® – Backstreet Boys: The Experience, a one-of-a-kind fan experience that opens to the public on Wednesday, April 10 and runs until Sept. 2, 2019.
